Computer Science & Engineering is a very dynamic branch where course content becomes obsolete even before one can say ‘Presto!’ Computer Science Engineering Department at Rungta Group of Colleges has progressed by chipping its way with a futuristic vision and a strong commitment to provide the latest and advanced learning programs to its students in this highly demanding sector.
Key research areas in the department include embedded systems, information management and integration, bioinformatics, computer systems, software engineering, multimedia, graphics and networks. The infrastructure and facilities are of the highest standards. The laboratories comprise of Advanced Programming lab, Conventional Programming Lab, DBMS & RDBMS Lab, UNIX lab, Multimedia & Image Processing Lab, Peripherals & Interfacing lab, Hardware Maintenance Lab, Software Development Lab and Internet lab. Students work with faculty in conducting innovative and cutting edge research in areas such as Artificial Intelligence, Multimedia and Visualization.
Today in this digital era, Information Technology has become an integral part of our living style. The Department of Information Technology at Rungta Engineering College is designed to fill the huge gap between the demand and availability of well trained professionals in the field of IT enabled services.
Rungta also believes in constantly upgrading the curriculum and the teaching methods so as to meet the ever changing needs of the constantly evolving Industry. The distinguished team of faculty provides the necessary impetus by combining academic excellence and real world experience with dedication and commitment. To create an innovative and knowledge-based society through concurrent teaching practices in information technology, Rungta has established advanced software laboratories. The laboratories house 220 computer systems, connected to the campus-wide LAN and they are equipped with various software with C, C++, Oracle, Visual Studio, Java, Case Tools and so on.
Electrical & Electronics Engineering touches virtually every face of our life. Although it is a single discipline in BE, Electrical & Electronics Engineering is best described in several related and intertwined technical areas such as Automatic Control, Communications, Power and Machinery, Computers, and Electronics.
The Electrical and Electronics Engineering department at Rungta is committed to develop and groom engineers of high standards. The faculty consists of a very articulate team of highly talented and committed individuals who have a good track record and rich experience. Right from the first year, students spend most of their time in practical training in the laboratories at Rungta College. They are also encouraged to attend seminars and symposiums conducted by eminent academicians and stalwarts in this dynamic field on emerging and latest trends in this field. The final year students take up projects to develop their skills in specialized areas like Power Electronics, PLC Based Systems, Robotics, Bio-Medical Engineering, VLSI Embedded Systems, Computer-aided Power System Controls, Fuzzy Logic and Neural Networks in Rungta College.
Mechanical engineers design and create everything from tiny parts of giant machines to cars, stereos, and robots. At the forefront of manufacturing and technology, mechanical engineers work on anything that involves the design and/or manufacturing of mechanical, thermal or electronic devices. Mechanical engineering is one of the broadest and most versatile of the engineering professions.
This course develops the knowledge and skills in the areas of general mechanical engineering including industrial engineering, production engineering, thermal and management sciences, functional areas of management, information systems, computer integrated manufacturing apart from the basic engineering knowledge and skills. Through the state-of-the-art CAD/CAM facility, students are exposed to the latest design, analysis and simulation software. The faculty has high profile and experienced members, who impart high quality teaching. This branch of engineering In Rungta College produces engineers who can serve in manufacturing, service and research organizations including defense. After successful completion of study In Rungta college, these engineers can take up higher studies in specialized areas in Indian and overseas universities.
